Our Founder's Vision

Lee Vista Pediatrics is constantly striving to lead in patient experience, clinical outcomes, and patient education.

When Dr. Marcia Gayoso welcomed her first patients on April 13, 2009, her mission was clearly in place:

to provide better quality care of the well and the sick, evaluating their problems, concerns, and educating those who we serve.

Lee Vista Pediatrics’ founder, drawing from her years practicing medicine, believed in diverse specialists working and thinking as a unit.

This kind of cooperation, efficiency and shared vision has fostered excellence in patient care and education. These principles endure today at Lee Vista Pediatrics.

Statement of Values

iKids Pediatrics was established by a visionary leader who believed in simple, guiding principles. Six fundamental values form the foundation of the Lee Vista

Pediatrics’ culture:

• Quality. We maintain the highest standards and achieve them by continually measuring and improving our outcomes.

• Innovation. We welcome change, encourage invention and continually seek better, more efficient ways to achieve our goals.

• Teamwork. We collaborate and share knowledge to benefit patients and fellow caregivers for the advancement of our mission.

• Service. We strive to exceed our patients’ and/or fellow caregivers’ expectations for comfort and convenience.

• Integrity. We adhere to high moral principles and professional standards by a commitment to honesty, confidentiality, trust, respect and transparency.

• Compassion. We demonstrate our commitment to world-class care by providing a caring and supportive environment for our patients, patients’ families and fellow caregivers.

Commitment to Principles

Childhood is a unique and valuable stage in the human life cycle. Our paramount responsibility is to provide healthcare and education in settings that are safe, healthy, nurturing, and responsive for each child. We are committed to supporting children’s development and learning; respecting individual differences; and helping children learn to live, play, and work cooperatively leading a healthier life. We are also committed to promoting children’s self-awareness, competence, self-worth, resiliency, and physical well-being.

Families are of primary importance in children’s development and well-being. Because the family and the early childhood practitioner have a common interest in the child’s well-being, we acknowledge a primary responsibility to bring about communication, cooperation, and collaboration between the home and early childhood program in ways that enhance the child’s development and well-being.
